Bumper Pad

I can finally put all this polyester filling to some use!!

I got an awesome deal at JoAnns on this stuff because it was considered a Christmas item. It was on sale for $1.27 for a 24 oz. bag! Definitely beats the regular price of $6.99 a bag that you would normally pay. And it's no different! There is no glitter or frill to this batting, just plain ol' buffalo snow. ;)
After many hours on these ties, I finally was able to sew them and the piping to the main fabric. After breaking two needles in trying to get through the thickness, we've got it all sewn up. Well almost. I left a hole in each of the four panels on the bottom for stuffing the batting.
It was getting late tonight, but I really wanted to get one panel stuffed to see what it will look like. I'm very happy to say that i think it will look beautiful. I can't wait to show Kristy and Brandon.

  1. Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog! I loved looking through yours. I was especially interested in the quilting bee's...I'm just getting started into quilting and would love to join a group like that!! How did you hear about them and join them?

Hope you enjoy your recipe card template! I'd love to see what you do with it!
